I have a 500 watt (max) power supply that has 2 +12v rails. One is rated at 17 amps the other is 16 amps. If I wanted a video card that needs 18 amps from +12v, does the combined +12v of this psu suffice, or is this a situation where only one of the rails will be used leaving me an amp or 2 short if I were to use that video card?
