Ok I need some help deciding what wattage PS to buy. Ill be running...
2 HD
8-gig WD
IMB 60gxp

AMD XP 1800+
4 casefans
2 cold cathode lights
a CD-ROM reader
a 40x plextor CD-RW
a NIC
a gf 4 ti4600
and a SB live

I have a 300 W and I wanted to know if that would do it. If anyone can tell me how they added up the wattage too that would be GREAT because I cant figure out how to add the components up. Thanks.

Regards

Should be alright as long it's a quality power supply, more watts will have more connectors coming out of the power supply.

Do a search in the General Hardware Forum about power supplies, check the threads for a member that has mostly a numercial name, I know there are several 1's in it. See if that person has a link to their site talking about watt usage and what would consume xx amount of watts.
