You should be just fine as long as it's a well made PS. BTWm when you say "several fans," how many do you mean Blurry?

I mean like around 3-4 large 120mm fans

All depends on the specific powersupply. If it can put out 30A or more on the 5-volt line, you should be fine. Some 300-watters do, many do not.
