Power Supply Question?

which would be better for a xp1700 an aopen 250watt or a codgen 300watt?

Aopen PS is good, high quality, but 250W is not enough for 1700+.

Codegen PS is garbage, it's as light as paper, you can get a Codegen mid-tower case with 300W PS for under $40 shipped from ubid or $40 from pc-club locally, what do you think the quality of its PS would be?

a good buy is HEC 350W, dual fan, $15 cheaper than Enermax's 350W from newegg.

I would suggest going with a 300W+ rating PS. Also make sure it is a good quality unit, not a cheap crapo.

Go for the 300W.. I think the Codegen would be sufficient.
