Power Supply Question

Can someobody tell me how I can check a Power Supply to see if it is 250W, 300W, or 400W. The stickers on the Power Supply were removed. A friend said I can use a multimeter but he wasnt sure how. Any help is appreciated.

Dual Athlon+6 hard drives+no system crashes=400W
Single Athlon+4 hard drives+no system crashes=300W
Single Pentium III+2 hard drives+no system crashes=250W
