I've heard they make reliable products, no personal experience with them though. Also, I trust when Performance PCs recommends something.

The main question though is...why?

Epower/Tagan doesn't have a very good rep for reliability. But they do seem to work well while they work...

I would encourage you to buy it and do a review for us ;)

Think of the bragging rights!!

To load test it, all you would need is a bunch of used car headlights. Hook-up both the
Hi & Low beams in parallel. Each would draw about 6A. Now have at it but keep a check
on it with several DMMs. Yeah!! Kewl! :p

I was thinking of getting an old PSU that had high 12V output to power my electric heated
snowmobile suit. I could be comfy in my garage office.
