Power supply question

I am planning on building a new system in a while and I wanted to use a power supply that utilizes the cables (and is modular in design) like the "X-Connect" power supply.

Are any of the major brand name computer power supply manufacturers offering a TOTALLY modular style P/S like the X-Connect or does that company have exclusive rights to that technology ? If there are, who makes a supply that has both very low noise rating and also reliable operation ?

Also, how good are the X-Connect supplies ? I have heard some disparaging comments regarding the X-Connect supplies.

You really cant go wrong with the X-Connect. I got one and I love it. the cables are nice and organized, not to menton that they are UV-Reactive. It also supplies all the power you will need.
