Power supply question

I have Enemrax EG465AX-VE, a 460W PSU. Is it enough to power P4P800, 2.4GHz P4 @ 3.5GHz, 1 Gb OCZ 3700 EL Gold Rev1(4x256Mb), GeForce 6600GT AGP, 5 HDD's (all 7200RPM), 3 CD/DVD drives (CDRW, DVD, DVD-R), Adaptec SCSI controller and Promise PCI ATA-100 controller?

Or should I use another power supply to power some of the stuff, like hard drives? (I have an extra one)

I have a similar system except I'm using 1 more HD and 1 less optical drive. My video card is a low end ATi. I'm using an Antec 480W PSU.

Add up the amps and do the math. A hard drive takes about 1.5 amps. Research what each of the other components require and see if the 12 volt rail(s) on the Enermax will support this.

I have an Aspire Concord 500w PSU and it currently runs an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe, 6 hard drives, a P4 3.0ghz Prescott, a 9800 Pro, 4 PC3200 512megs DDR sticks of ram, a DVD/CDRW combo drive, a DVD burner, a Diskette drive, an Adaptec 29160N SCSI card, an Audigy 2 ZS card, a Promise PCI ATA/133 card, and an AverTV tuner card. And of course about 5 fans and the 12V and 5V are well within stable limits even though the Aspire Concord is probably considered by enthusiast as a cheap PSU. Been running for 7 months non-stop and the 12V never dipped below 11.4V anf the 5V never below 4.8V. Not bad for a 60 dollar PSU. So I think your Enermax should be fine as it is probably better than my Aspire Concord.
