Power Supply Question

Does anyone have any opinions on this power supply?

I plan on buying that for my new computer which will include:
Either Neo4 or LanParty (no sli)
Athlon64 3000 939
6800 (may go x800xl later)
OCZ 512 (256x2) EL 3200

I do plan on overclocking

I was also looking into this.
However, it only has 20 pins on the +12.

Any suggestions welcome

I've never seen this brand before, so that's something to consider. One of the reviews says that the 12v rail is low. Not good, but that MAY be a munufacturing variation for the person who said it. Other than that it looks OKAY if you're trying to save a few bucks.

no it doesn't, some of the older PSU's have very high +5V output.

anyway it looks like an okayish PSU, shouldn't have any problems handeling anything your system is capable throwing at it.

You need to totally not skimp on your power supply. That's all I have to say. It's more than worth going with one of the better-known names in PSUs. If you can't afford it, take the money out of some other component.

I've heard that the Rosewill PS arent all that great. How about the Ultra PS. It has some good amperage on its rails, but its only 20 pin. Is it necessary that I use a 24 pin PS (Lan Party wants one, Neo4 says it can do with a 20 pin)?

Look at the XClio 450W - follow the product link on the lower left of the full description page on Newegg. It's actually made by Channel Well (same as Antec). Has active PFC. IMO, it looks to be the best buy on Newegg today and should be able to handle all but the most loaded systems. Sorry, I can't get links as Newegg's site is acting up on me.
. Most of the Rosewill PSUs are made by ATNG/Coolmax..
