We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. i dont know why a vid card would lower the prices of PSUs... they are two different fairly unrelated components (even if the newer cards will require their own power line etc). my answer would be no, i wouldnt expect any prices to go down on PSU's anymore than i would any other time. i could be completely wrong but at this time i see no reason to believe they would.
I don't think the prices will really drop, but I think we'll start seeing more 400-480 watt OEM (and no-name) power supplies. After all, you can avoid the PS problem by getting a X800 😉. Nvidia has lowered the power requirement down to a "quality 350 watt" as opposed to the 480 watt they originally specified. I figure a "quality 350 watt" is about equivilent to a 400-450 watt OEM PS.
