Hey guys got a quick question for ya.
2 weeks ago i built my new system off of some suggestiosn from you guys (you guys rock! lol) and ended up getting a asus p4pe and a p4 2.4b. I got the generic case/fan combo for cheap since i don't have much cash. Now I actually rally like the case (landmark case with tons of space) but I have a generic 300W psu. Now everything runs fine except the air comming out of the back of the power supply is pretty hot. Is this normal for 300w psus? I am comming off of a 250W P3 500 so I don't really know... Should i be worried or no?

Better that the heat is being blown out the back than sitting inside the PSU.

PSU components get pretty hot. Lower quality = lower efficiency, more waste heat.

true i opened up the case today and checked it out, nothing felt hot, the PSU maybe was a little warm. I was just kinda worried since a lot of air is being blown out of the PSU and it's pretty hot. maybe i am just freaking myself out, my oldcomp was all tricked up with every upgradable thing but i was stuck at 500mhz with my old mobo. so this i my first completely new mobo/processor/evyrhting replacement and don't want anything to happen that is bad!
