So recently my computer has been going down alot. Almost like a CPU overheat where your screen goes blank but it doesn't actually turn off all the power.
The most recent thing I've done was replace the CPU fan so at first I did think it was a CPU overheating issue. But I checked by putting the old one back on and it still had the problem.
I opened up my Hardware Monitor Program next and discovered that the Voltages being supplied my components were off. My 3.3v is at 2.67, and my 5v is at 5.5v, DDR is at 2.92, and AGP is at 1.05v. So of course i Figured that the power supply was bad.
I replaced the Power Supply with a Brand New one, fresh out of the box. Load back up the Hardware monitor program on reboot and it's still showing the same values, though of course they vary alittle as it refreshes, but generally the same numbers.
I've got another computer sitting right next to it on the same power strip and all of it's voltages are correct.
Is this a motherboard issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated in this matter. Thanks greatly in advance.
