I posted this in the Cases & Cooling forum, but there's more traffic here and I need a quick answer to this problem before I go at it:

K, I've got a quick question that should be fairly easy to answer. I accidentally pulled the two yellow wires going into one of my 4-pin connectors from my power supply. I forced them back in and the power flows fine, but I'm really afraid that they'll come out again, maybe while the computer's on and touch the metal chassis and short the power supply (it's off right now and won't be back on till I fix this). Anyway, my question: can I solder the wires back into the 4-pin connector? I'm guessing it's perfectly safe to do so since it's a parallel connection and there's no special contacts required. Besides I forced the wires back in and it works fine, so I'm guessing it's ok, but I wanna know for sure before I do it.

Anyway, I don't wanna send the power supply to Enermax to replace if there's a very simple soldering fix I can apply to it.

I wouldn't worry! I have done ten times more risky things with my power supply! My question is how u did in the first place? Those things are crimped into there! You could solder it, but unless you got a case fan I wouldn't.
