Power Supply Problem?

I was reading an article about cases and came upon one which had my case on it. They reported that the power supply included was the worst they ever tested and it failed their tests..

Right now I'm having a reboot problem. I just freshly formatted my drive and there's a minimum amount of programs on it. While running Diablo II, the system would reboot itself. This has happened in the past, would a faulty/crappy power supply cause a computer system to reboot? Maybe cause there isn't sufficient amount of power when running intensive applications?

A weak power supply could cause rebooting. Are you overclocking? It could be other things such as bad or overclocked RAM at fast timings also. I have a 430 watt Enermax running in a loaded, overclocked system that I added 4 extra 120mm fans to test the PS under an extended load, and sure enough it booted into Windows, and immediately rebooted it's self. I removed the extra fans, and all is well again.
