power supply problem

ok here's the problem I'm having:

I got a nice little AT system running on the bench, and so i mounted it in a little case. I still hadn't put the psu in the case but I plugged it up to the mbtherboard to test everything again, and it worked fine. Then I mounted the psu and no power from the damn thing the fan turns on for a sec and then shuts down, what could this be I have no clue?

Recheck EVERY connection! BTW, it is possible to get an AT powersupply connectors backwards....speaking from experience😉
 
You might be shorting out the motherboard where you connected it to the case. Make sure the screws holding the mobo in the case aren't touching any trace lines.
