Power Supply Problem?

Recently, my computer has been acting strange when I try to play 3D based games. For example, when I try to play Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, sometimes I will be able to play for 30 minutes or so, but then the computer will crash. Maybe crash isn't the appropriate word for it, since the monitor blanks out and shows me a "DPMS mode on" like it does when it goes into standby, like a signal isn't being sent to it. The computer seems to stay on, but I just can't see what is happening. This also happened immediately when I tried to boot FlatOut earlier today.

Since Windows isn't giving me any BSOD's or dumps, and MBM is showing acceptible tempteratures am I correct in thinking this is a power supply problem? Here are my system specs:

2500 AMD Barton Core
512 MB Ram
nVidia 6600GT video
350W power supply

Thanks for your help!

Hmmmm.... looks like it was anti-aliasing causing my problem... I unchecked the "allow applications to control AA" box and set it to off and everything seems to be working for the time being...

It seems like it wasn't AA's fault after all... After playing Flatout for about 30 min, the monitor blanks out and gives me the message like it does when it goes into standby. The computer doesn't reboot automatically, I have to physically hit the button to get it to reboot.

I've tried the newest drivers and I seem to get the same thing. On top of that, the newest drivers make my CPU go at 100% whenever I try to open a video file. So I've rolled back to 71.84.

Does this sound like a power problem? What I think is happening is that there isn't enough power for the video card to run and it just stops sending a signal to the monitor, which is why the monitor is giving me it's "standby" message. On the other hand, the audio stops, which leads me to believe that maybe the whole system does crash.

Anyone have any insight? Thanks again!
