power supply problem

hi, my power supply sometimes just simply shuts off, i found it was a heating problem...i bought a fan but still having troubles....if i were to buy a higher watt power supply...would it heat up so easily? THANKS

it just goes off, from heat i think....should a higher watt power supply help in anyway?
