Specifically, the Seasonic SuperTornado SS-400FB or the Fortron Source FSP400-60PNU-R.
Comments? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Seasonic Super Tornado. I have one at it's silent and one of the most stable PSUs made. It will also save some on the electric bill in the long run.

I'm impressed- you sure picked two great psu's to choose from. Either one will work great. I have the Fortron. But the Seasonic has more amps on the 12V rail and is slightly more efficient, as mentioned above, so I'd get that one. I've had my eye on that Seasonic for awhile now.

make sure u get the rev3 version. rev2 sucks!!!

Really interesting thread. Thanks for enlightening me about the fact that there are other great PSUs that compare with FSP-group models. I'll have to read up more on these "Seasonic" models.

Would one need a 400W running a single processor system w/dual hd's, 2-120mm & 2-92mm fans, 2 optical drives & a 9700 pro or would a 350W suffice?
