Power supply p/n for HP photosmart 8250

A friend of mine has gone through **** trying to get a new power supply for his printer. HP has sent him three different ones (all wrong) and one of the support people told him there was about 50 different part numbers for the power supply. I just want to get a part number for it so i can order the right one through them or someone else.

Take it out and look at the part number ?

Therein lies the problem, when he switched internet services his old one wanted their modem back, and he accidently sent the printer p/s with it. The company can't find it so he's forced to buy a new one.

Maybe go to a store that has that model and look at the part number...is it a internal ps or a external one ?
