Power Supply Issue?

Hey all, I was getting a BSOD pretty frequently, maybe 2 to 3 times a week, and my computer would always act funny when shutting down. Then suddenly my entire eyefinity display went dark, but the computer was stilll on cause i could hear the audio of the login chime so i knew it wasn't dead lol

So in BIOS it says my 3.3v voltage rail is at 2.976v... obviously a problem of sorts... but this could be due to the motherboard too right? Would you presume its the motherboard, or the powersupply in this case. I'm thinking to just probe the 3.3v line from the powersupply and see what kind of voltage we have on it while under load (i.e. still connected to the motherboard)

Thoughts?

I wouldn't make any final determinations based solely on a bios voltage report.
Use a good multimeter to measure voltages from the PS.
+5 VDC ±5% (±0.25 V) +4.75 V to +5.25 V
−5 VDC ±10% (±0.50 V) –4.50 V to –5.50 V
+12 VDC ±5% (±0.60 V) +11.40 V to +12.60 V
−12 VDC ±10% (±1.20 V) –10.80 V to –13.20 V
+3.3 VDC ±5% (±0.165 V) +3.135 V to +3.465 V
+5 VSB ±5% (±0.25 V) +4.75 V to +5.25 V

Looking at page 2-28 in the following MOBO documenation, I tested all 3.3v pins on the EATX connector head, and all check out to very close to 3.3v (slightly above)...and this is under load... so the BIOS is reporting 3.3v incorrectly as 2.976V or there is some regulator burn out on the board.

Or everything could be fine with power and I could be getting a BSOD randomly due to software issues. Any guesses out there?
