Power supply good enough?

It may work, but IMO a HD 5870 + Q9400 is pushing it, especially if he's planning to overclock at all. I'd personally feel much better with a 550-650W unit.

That FPS has 13A and 14A on the two 12V rails. Seems a little anemic for the HD 5870.

Minimum power supply for the 5870 is a 500W unit with at least 40A on the 12V output.

If you take a look at the specs for that FSP PSU, it can only deliver 324W, or 27A on the 12V output in total.

I bought a 5870 just recently. I know my computer uses 400W from the wall when I load it up with Prime 95 and Furmark. Assuming 75% efficiency, that's 300W being supplied by my PSU. Obviously, not all 300W will come from the 12V output, but most of it will. The 324W maximum on the 12V output is definitely a bit too close for comfort for me, and not all PSUs will like being pushed to its limits.
