Power supply for SAPPHIRE TRI-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC

How much Watt is enough to power up these including the GPU keep in mind im trying to keep the budget as low as possible, I dont want the cheapest psu out there i want something thats just enough to power it up.

-RAM: G.skill RipjawsX 8GB (2 X 4GB) DDR3 1600 CL9 1.35v Dual Channel Memory Kit

-Mother Board: ASRock Fatal1ty H97 Killer Socket 1150 Motherboard

-Processor: Intel Core I5-4590 Haswell 3.3GHz LGA 1150 84W Desktop Processor

-Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE TRI-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC

Good with mild overclock: Corsair 430 Watts

I actually used that PSU to power an i7-3770k @ 4.2 with a R9-290X. Pull at the wall was around 350 watts.

that corsair vx430 has only 32A on +12v rail. 32 x 12 = 384w. get the rosewill capstone 450 or 550 depending on your budget.

Sapphire annoyingly sets 750W as the minimum power supply, but that's garbage, as the card only draws ~250 watts in cyptocurrency mining and a little over 200W in gaming.

With an i5 you should have no problem whatsoever running your system on that PSU unless you stick a ton of hard drives in your case or something.

Here's what I don't get. An R9 280x is a renamed HD 7970 GHz edition, isn't it? So why does Sapphire recommend 750W for the R9 280x and only 500W for the HD 7970 GHz?

I used that card on a Dell XPS 420 with the Dell 435 power supply, no problems. Since changed the PS to a Corsair CX650.
