Bah wtf was that. Thing double posted and had a response to both by me instantaneously. The other post disappeared. Anyway, FatMan42 said something about making sure my power supply was up to it for overclocking. I was wondering whether a 450w powermagic P/S is enough for what I will be running:

Epox 8K3A KT333
XP1600@1747mhz
1x512 DDR2700
IBM Deskstar 120GXP 80 GB 7200
CD-RW 32X12X48
DVD 16X 48X
NIC
GeForce4 ti4600
Audigy
Floppy
3 Case fans
HHC-001 CPU HSF

Technonut, did you make this post after I put all my system stuff in there? With all that stuff, the 400W antec power supply will be fine?

You could run that system on a 200W. An Antec TruePower 330 will be plenty for that sytem.

I did not see your specs when I replied, but I have seen some of your other posts. ;) I did say at/ over 400W... although to answer your question, The Antec TruePower would be 430W, and the Sparkle 400W. I think either would suit your needs. I have the TruePower 430W, and 550W, along with a 350W and 400W Sparkle. (and also other brands) I actually favor the Antec and Sparkles over the PC Power and Cooling TurboCool 425W I also use.

Go with Antec or Sparkle. What matters is the 3.3v and 5v combined rails. The CPU, AGP card, and memory run off those rails.
Just for comparison, the Enlight 300 watt PSU that I have has a combined 3.3v and 5v of 165 watts max. The Sparkle 350 watt PSU has a combined 3.3v and 5v of 210 watts. That's quite a difference.

Never knew that about power supplies, BlvdKing. Thanks Technonut, Pariah, BlvdKing, I will probably go with the Antec or Sparkle

I forgot to mention that some 350 watt PSU's have weak combined 3.3v and 5v rails. For example, the 350 watt HEC from Newegg has 3.3v and 5v rails of 185 watts. That's why I recommend the Sparkle 350 watt or higher.

I would put my money on the Sparkle 350 watt or higher.
