Power Supply for IWILL KA266-R

I want to run an IWILL KA266-R mobo with a 1.33 Ghz AMD. What is the minimum wattage Power supply i should use. I'll proably have two HDD for the Raid, CD burner, DVD, and the video, sound and NIC cards as well.

350W

Burner takes a lot of power, and 1.33g AMD drains way more than my P3

I loaded up on my P3 1gig w/ 300w ps, but I "think" I pretty much push my PS to max

I'd say 300W - 350W as well. Burners use quite a bit of juice and Athlons are more power hundry than Hitler was. 😉

Here's my dilema. I am right know in the process of setting up the box, and I am having a hard time getting it to post. It has 256 MB of Crucial DDR and a power supply of 300 w. I have tried it outside of the case with just the mobo, the video card, and the DDR hooked up. Do you think that the problem could be a power supply that is too weak?

A big thing with the Iwill boards is the DDR DIMMs need to be pushed in really hard. Just because the retention clips click into place does not mean the DIMM has been seated properly. It is best to mount your CPU and memory with the mobo out of the case first.

The first thing I'd suggest you check is to make sure the memory is fully inserted. Specifically in the middle of the DIMM module.

I have an Antec SX1030B w/ Antec 300w psu and it ran my 1.5GHz system. I don't think it is the source of your "no post". Try booting the system with cpu, one stick of memory, and the video card.

If you are getting the Antec SX1030, you shouldn't worry about the PSU because the one that came with the case is already more than enough to satisfy all your T-bird action needs.
