what kind of wattage do u need these days? i think im running a 350 on my athlon xp 1700/asus setup.

and can anyone recommend one that wont die in me within a year?
 
PSU decision also depends on the video card you're running and whether you o/c and things like that. Generally though, for a basic system, I'd think a quality 400W or so would be fine.

Some quick branks to check out: Silverstone, Seasonic, Enhance, FSP (if budget is a concern).
 
i'm not really a gamer anymore. i play WoW now and then. bout it. i just need something for web design and watch dvd's. looking for something under $75.
