I'm going to upgrade my system ( a PII-300Mhz ) and buy an A7V with an AMD T-bird 800Mhz. Do you think I can use a 230W L&C power supply, taken from my actual system ? Should I buy a more powerful one ? Thank you in advance.

It may work - but may not be stable or could have boot problems. Recommend at least 250 preferably 300w supply. No harm though in trying out the old before you buy if you do not plan to o/clock.

Just curious, what's the S-code on that PII-300? And when/where was it made?

Yes, its sort of off topic, but I like PII300s.

NEWMOZ2,if you can afford it go with 300w for best stability, your PSU may or maynot work that great,go here for AMD PSU list ,btw go for good brand like Sparkle,Antec,Enermax.
