Power Supply for a budget system

Hey all. I'm currently using a "Mad Dog" 350W power supply and the voltages are sagging incredibly low and causing lots of instability with Win2K.

I am looking around for a power supply no more than $50 that uses the "single 120mm fan" deal for optimal airflow and less noise.

Cheap- but this isn't a top of the line system, and I have limited cash.

I found 3 I like, but 2 seem to be the exact same except made by a different company.

Fortron Source FSP350-60PN

Sparkle FSP350-60PN

I have heard good things about the two companies but that strikes me as odd.

The last choice is a model by Coolmax, who I have also heard good things about.

What should I go for? Any other suggestions?

SPECS:
XP 2600+ Thoroughbred-B
Shuttle AN35/N-Ultra
512MB PC2700 Kingston
Radeon 9600XT

Thanks,
Zach

Off the top of my head, Fortron and Sparkle are made by the same manufacturer.
Either of those two will do you absolutely fine 🙂

I haven't heard of CoolMax, I wouldn't trust them myself.

Alright, that's what I figured would be better.

The Fortron "FSP350-60PN" it is, (cheaper as of now.)

shoRunner: thanks for the link to the Sparkle refurbs. I think I'm gonna get a bunch for when I build budget PCs for people, they're a great price.

Thanks all,
Zach
