I recently installed an Enermax 351P-VE 330w power supply in my AOpen HX45 midtower ATX case. The p.s. has two fans - one that exhuasts air out the back of the p.s., and a second one that blows air out the bottom of the p.s., over the mainboard.
As I've thought about this it seems that better airflow could be achieved if both fans were drawing air from the case, through the p.s. box, out the back of the case. Am I missing something here? Am I way off base? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
FYI, other cooling equipment in this case include: 80mm front case fan (Sunon quiet fan) drawing in, three-fan hard drive cooler drawing in, Super Slot Fan exhausting through a backplane slot, Thermaltake Golden Orb HSF on an FC-PGA P!!!-650 cB0 (not overclocked, yet <g>).
