Ok, I got a pci-e x800 xt and it needed a 6-pin power connector, so I got this power supply: http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=17-103-924&depa=1 which supports pci-e. I install it, and everything is working great. 6 hours later, I'm just using the computer and I hear a loud, sharp pop, and the computer cuts off. I am unable to power it back on. Assuming it's the PSU, I stick my old one in, and it works fine...but no x800 xt of course. Anyway, my question is what on earth do you think could have caused the Antec Neo Power to explode like that?? I have a P4 3.2, 1 GB Corsair, 160 GB SATA HD, and Gigabyte motherboard.

Antec is a good brand. Sounds like you just got a dud. I'd RMA it back to Newegg.
