This is in an ancient PC. it's a P3 733 w/ a Tyan Tiger 133 dual slot 1 motherboard (only 1 processer though) it has 384mb of ram, a STB Riva128ZX 8mb AGP card and WinXP pro.

About a week ago it's old Generic 250watt Power supply died taking it's liteon LTD163 DVD drive w/ it. I replaced the drive w/ a LTD163D I had on the shelf and a 250watt antec I also had on the shelf, the system booted fine and appeared to work correctly, but after a while the system would just hard lock when the screen saver engaged.

I ran Memtest on it for 24 hrs and it found no errrors, I ran Prime95 Torture test for 12 hrs and it found no errors and I ran Western Digitals Diag software on the 2 40GB HDDs and it found no errors, also fyi ran a loop of 3dmark 2k1 and seemed to work ok. The system just seems to randomly freeze now. I also tried reloading windows from a Ghost backup that was about a week old but the system is still having issues.

I'm thinking the processor or motherboard may be bad anyone have any ideas on what else I could do to test this machine? It's for a small auto repair place and they run some propritary software and Requires an ISA slot for a custom diag. card, it's the only reason this PC is still in service. if anyone can come up w/ some ideas of what might be wrong I'm all ears and thanks for the help in advance :)
