This s my present configuration:
OS: XP ( FULLY (CLEAN) INSTALLED)

MB: Shuttle AK31 rev 3.1

BIOS VERSION: AK31S2EF (SUPPORT OF XP2000)DATE :01/04/2002

4ON1 DRIVERS: 4.37

PROCESSOR: ATHLON XP 1700 ( NOT OVERCLOCKED) @ 1466 MHz

MEMORY : 1GIGABYTE DDR Micron PC2100

GRAPHIC CARD; NVIDIA GFORCE 2 MX 400

HD: WD CAVIAR 60 GB @ 7200 rpm

POWER SUPPLY : ENLIGHT 300 W
+5V = 256A
+3.3V= 20A
+12V = 13A
+5V and 3.3V combined output: 180Watts max.
CDRW: TEAC CD-W524E (24x10x40) REPLACING LITEON 16102B

DVD: AFREEY 12X DVD ROM (Support ULTRA DMA 33 & PIO MODE 4)

I am looking at this POWER SUPPLIES:
ANTEC TRUE430
specs:
+5V = 36A
+3.3V= 28A
+12V = 20A
+5V, +3.3V & +12V maximum output 410 Watts max.
no information on 3.3v and 5v rails combined....
OR
ANTEC PP412X
specs:
+5V = 40A
+3.3V= 28A
+12V = 18A
* +5V and 3.3V combined output: 245Watts max.
* +5V, +3.3V and +12V combined output: 380Watts max

Wich one You will recommend?
Any reviews on the ANTEC TRUEPOWER Series?
please let me know......

I would go with the TruePower supply. Actually that's what I'm going to be getting with the new case I'm buying, the Antec 1080 case with the 400watt psu. It's a good choice since it separates the different rails and should be more stable overall.

How does the PSU ( TRUE POWER) separates the different rails than the regular ANTEC 412?
