Power Supply brands?

yeah i can understand that, but theres a bunch of people out there that are too lazy, afraid, or think they're too good for society to figure out whats worth the money.

fsp fortron, zippy, pcp&c, sparkle, seasonic, ocz, epower tagan, thermaltake, and xclio.

I would stay away from thermaltake, as the 12v rail on their psu's usually does not have very many amps.

I don't like recommending just brands. A good example is OCZ. The OCZ Powerstream is a great PSU, but just because the Modstream is an OCZ does not mean it is anywhere near the quakity of the Powerstream. However my favoriote is Fortron though. Nobody gives you more for your money then them.

What exactly are you looking for? What are you powering? What is your budget?

yes. The new Enermax Noisetaker is very efficient (+75%) and quiet. The 12V rail is also rock solid. I also like those Fortrons. Good n and not too expensive.
