well, im getting a new case but it doesnt have a power supply included. so i have to use my old 250w power supply. will this be enough for new my pc? heres specs

epox 8rda+
athlon xp 2100+ OCed at 2.1ghz
corsair xms pc3200 256mb
40gb hard drive
radeon 8500le
52x cdrom
40x12x48x cdrw

i forget anything? also, im gonna upgrade to 512 memory later on. just wondering if 250w would work with this pc

I'd say you'd be reallllly pushing it with a 250Watt PS. You need a good 300+ Watt PSU (like a Fortron, Sparkle, or Antec, etc.)

I'd suggest getting a quality-brand 350W+ unit. The Antec TruePower 330 is quite good and also worth a look. Other brands that get good reports include Heroichi, Sparkle Power, Enlight and Enermax. Quality first, then quantity (wattage) 😀
