power steering problem

Lately when I start the truck, and turn the wheel, I feel a vibrating and a humming sound when I turn the wheel, eventually after like 30 min of driving it would go away, it started when the weather changed in South Fl. It used to go away faster, but now stays longer with time. What could this be?

it's not the steering fluid?
I think he figured even a monkey would know to check the fluid before asking the question online...

That and low fluid is usually more of a groaning/grinding noise.

Had the same thing happen to me, check the fluid, it's low. Be sure to have the shop do a full drain and refill (most shops will only fill it and not replace it) which makes it the most neglected fluid in cars.
