Power Spec's for GPU, etc.

I see a lot of the PSU recommendations in this forum based on peak amp draw for CPU and GPU. Where do you guys get these numbers? Is there a reliable source of power usage spec's on common system components?

Most card manufacturers only put the fluffy, top-level spec's on their websites.

You can always look upi the specs on the CPUs at the manufacture site. GPUs generally have a recomended PSU wattage for there cards. This is based off there power ussage and the power needs of an average system. But most people refure to sites that have done allot of the research on there own to find out the power needs of most of the key components of a system. This one is considered one of the best and is update pretty regularly. It may not have the latest cards and CPUs but that is generally because they havn't gotten the specs on them yet.
