Power Saving Feature w/ SETI

Since I'm not all about losing cycles to a screen saver, I'm trying to use the power saving feature to just get my computer to turn off the monitor after 5-10 minutes or so. However, it's not doing that even though I have it set to do just so. Is it because of SETI that it's not doing it, or is there some other problem?

Positive that nothing's moving anything. I've been sitting here playing Playstation for awhile now and it's still not going into power off mode. What all has to happen for it to do that?

Also make sure that your BIOS is set for power management. I believe that both the BIOS and OS have to be enabled.

Fixed it (along with some other system problems) when I reformatted my hard drives last night. Yes, Indy - that part did end up to be a BIOS setting that I missed. Thanks!
