You know what would be worse? Taking Japanese giant combinatory robot shows but not the whole show, just the fighting sequence when they are not showing the actors' faces. Substitute with local kids with similar dimensions and shoot those parts. Doesn't even matter if the sexes of the characters are the same.

I remember that show when it first came out in third grade, does feel like it was that long ago.
I am now a senior in college.

The next day after the premier everyone was trying to do the martial arts on the show lol.

Loved it. The original Power Rangers were awesome, the new Dino Force and whatever else they call them arent so great.

I used to play it all the time on the trampoline. Course that was back in like 3rd grade.

I never let my son watch Power Rangers when he was younger. If it came on I'd ask him to change it.
