There seem to be lot of threads of " does y PSU have enough power for x configuration "

While I am sure ppl appreciate the answers, I have always been curious to know how to tell ?

Woudnt it better if some bright spark out there could post a reply telling everyone how extaly to check this ?

Can you use the Mobo Monitor? I know this just gives volts, and not amps, but I know sqwat about electricity so anybody who knows plz enlighten us ( or me if no one else is intersted ) .
