Power Problem

I have a 100w PSU and it works just fine. Or so I thought Then one day my FDD is not detected. So I look inside and the power cord is undone. So i redu it and hit the power swith. Nothin. so I unplug it and presto! instant bootage! Is this related to my PSU or do i have a bad FDD

Here's Everything i'm running:
1 Compaq Fast NIC
1 Graphics card (very low end)
1 CD-RW Drive
1 Maxtor hard drive
1 ISA based sound card
1 FDD
1 Pentium II (Slot 1) Not Overclocked

This used to happen to me all the time. Floppy drive would last about a year, then die and cause booting problems. More than likely it's just a bad drive.
