When I hit the power button the system comes on for a half second,lights, fans etc. then shuts off. If I hit the power button again I get nothing. If I unplug the power cord from the power supply and plug it back in It will fire up for a half second again then shut down.
I just upgraded my system a week ago to:
amd3500+
MSI neo 2 Platinum
1 gig pc3200
antec true blu 480watt
wd 80 gig HD
Everything was fine. Yesterday I finished my upgrade buy purchasing a EVGA 6800 ultra. I installed it and everything was stable. I hooked it up with a dedicated cable from the Power supply with 2 connectors on it.
I've checked my power switch connectors and power supply connectors into the motherboard and everything is tight. Anyone have any ideas what I can try next.
