Power Problem with CUSL2

I have a ASUS CUSL2 MB with a power problem that I'm not sure if it is related to the Power Supply or to the Case On/Off Switch. The MB power light is on, but everytime that I try to turn the computer on it doesn't work. I have to fiddle with the power switch connector on the MB or the power switch on the case it self. Ideas? TIA

there are probably more tecnical ways to test, but if it's a problem with the case's switch, you could try shorting those to pins on the mobo momentarily with a key and see if it starts up. Just be careful in there.

You'd want to be sure that it's not something as simple as having the wrong pins connected... but you've probably agonized enough to have done so.
