I've started a new business and part of it involves giving a presentation to a group of people. I have a power point presentation that I got from someone else, but I want to change it. Is Power Point something that comes with Office 2000 or something like that, or can I get it by its self? I have a viewer that I dnloaded, but I want to change the presentation that I have and it won't do that. Is there something that I can get to modify this (.ppt) file? Is there something else that I can use (cheaply) to make pro looking presentations using say...jpg and bmp files?

Thanks!!
Dave

If you are into Linux, StarOffice can read and edit PowerPoint files, and it's completely free for download...

Ha!...you're not going to belive this......I do have Linux Mandrake, but I forgot my user name & password so I can't get in there :) Do you happen to know of a way for idiots like me to boot up Linux? It may be worth my time to format and reinstall it, but I really, really don't want to right now.

Thanks!!!!

Actually I just went and checked, seems like StarOffice works under Windows! You can download it here and install it under Windows, then you can open, save, and edit all MS Office files (word, excel, powerpoint, etc... )
