Power Point!

I'm taking a phsyc class this semester and the teacher wants us to make a lifeline for some reason. He gave us the options of a poster board, powerpoint or those clear sheets you use with an overhead projector. Now I've never used powerpoint but I would like to give it a shot and make it with that.

What powerpoint program is recommended? Powerpoint-xp?

How do you bring the powerpoint to class? Floppy I'm assuming?

Are all versions of powerpoint backwards compatible (Not sure what hardware they are using to run it, just know he said if you have powerpoint use it)?

And is there anything else I should know.

Thanks,

whatever version is on the PC you will be showing it on

USB Flash Drive, floppys.... wtf are those.

You are better off showing a powerpoint made on an older version on a newer version than vice versa

I recommend the version of Powerpoint that the teacher has on the computer in class. That way you will be sure that your presentation will work just the way you want. If you get a different version, you have an excellent chance it will also work but I would make a trial run before your presentation in class, just to be sure.

A basic Powerpoint presentation is very easy. If you have basic comuter skills and/or used any Microsoft Office product you won't have any problems with Powerpoint.

I got floppys or hard drives, no need for flash drive 😛 I have to dig in my closet to find the floppys

This is what he means by USB flash drive. Your best option, by far. Can be had pretty cheap for your needs.

I know what a flash drive is, I simply don't have a need for one is all

If its to big for a floppy I put it on a HD if its small enough to fit on a floppy it goes there. Been this way for years 🙂
