Power Plug problem with Toshiba M35

I apologize if I posted this in the wrong category, but I can't get into the hardware category.

Do any of you have soldering skills to perform a fix for this laptop? I have taken the laptop apart and have the bare motherboard sitting on my counter. I tried attaching an external plug but my soldering skills suck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
