When I start it up takes me to bios and tells me my settings aren't correct, and to correct them. I put it to 133/33 and it reboots. It doesn't come back to the Windows start up screen like it normally does.

I have an ASUS A7N266-e with a 1.4 T-Bird with the 266FSB.

Any ideas on why this might be occuring? If I leave it at 100/33 it works fine. It isn't utilizing my entire processor but it works and boots into Windows.

Also, how can I keep this from happening? What kind of UPS works well?

It sounds like your chipset or processor might have been damaged. Are any other components faulty? And have you tried clearing the CMOS on your motherboard?

And in terms of UPS' my first choice is Cyber-Power but a lot of people like Belkin also.
