i set my laptop up so that when i close the lid, it doesnt do anything and pressing the power button will put it into standby. the default is standby when the lid is closed and shutdown when pressing the power button. the problem is whenever i change it, it keeps resetting. its really annoying...why is it doing this? it was doing this with the power profiles too...the one where you set the time limit before the computer will shut off the monitor, shut of the HD etc. i had to delete all the profiles because it kept resetting to the default whenever i changed it.
