Hey everyone,
I've got a problem with my computer and I am hoping some of you experts could shed some light on the problem. Thanks in advance for the help.
I powered down my computer and the next time I tried to turn it on the power came on but nothing happens. To explain things further when the power button it turned on all the lights, fans, and peripherals power up but I dot NOT hear a post beep and my CPU fan begins to spin much faster than usual.
These symptoms make me believe either 1. my PSU is failing, or 2. my CPU craped out on me. Possibly my mobo?
My hardware is as follows:
--ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i
--Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz
--OCZ GameXStream OCZ600GXSSLI 600W ATX12V
--Western Digital Raptor X WD1500AHFD 150GB
--Foxconn FV-N88SMBD2-ONOC GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB
--Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB
Any suggestions or ideas about the problem would be greatly accepted! Im at my wits end and I would just like to finish my research paper .. and play some TF2 ;-)
Thanks again for any help!
