power on after power loss notebook

Does anyone know of a notebook that has the capabilities to automaticaly power back on after a power loss? or is this not possible b/c of the battery? This does not have to be a new model as i am investigating to upgrade from a compaq slt 286 notebook.

Probably not but you could check the bios under the power setting. I have an old PRO 200 and it woun't.

286! Yes! Yeah we heard you. NO. They have not even included Power Savings Mode in the bios during those times. Actually, it was all done by DOS or Window screen savers.
