Power of Duron

Just built a Duron 600@800 system for my in-laws, who in turn will give it to my brother-in-law as a Chistmas present. Me, I think I'm getting balck socks (Ya!). I built it early with the intention of burning it in for a couple of weeks with RC5😉 BTW, MSI K7T Pro 2-A hasn't crashed yet, and between Win98SE and Win2K, I've thrown a fair bit at it.

I added it to my stable of a C300a@450, P3 733, and P133. Both the Celeron and P3 are on 24/7, but are well-used during the day.

With the Duron temporarily replacing the P133 and running 24/7, my blocks have gone from about 700 to 1600 per day! Take a look!

I knew the Duron was faster per clock, but this kicks butt. Gotta get one for me when this one's gone.

Regards,
Craig

maybe the 760MP will be around in time for my birthday... dual 1.3 GHz athlons for birthday... this power must not be used for evil... hehehe 😉

Hehe. A Duron 800 is what I'm ordering tomorrow or Sunday depending on your comments here. 🙂

And the main reason for my upgrade is, I'll be honest, rc5 rather than gaming. 😉
