Power management on Seagate drives?

I know Hitachi has a tool that will allow you to adjust the spindle speed to lower power consumption and was wondering if anyone knows of a tool that will do this for Seagate drives. I spoke with Seagate tech support and was told they don't offer a utility like this. I just built a new media server and I'd like to keep the power usage as low as possible.

Wow, someone give this guy first post of the year award or something......

OP

As far as i know the WD green drives do this automatically and i would look into them for a serve where heat and power is a concern.

I was going to go with the green drives but then read about how there's RAID problems with how often they park their heads and I'll be running a RAID5. Oh well, can't have everything.
